Initial Thoughts After Our No-Kids Trip

Welcome to another chapter of magical mayhem!

We're back from our no-kids trip and the question everyone keeps asking: Would we do it again?

YES.

It was so great to get a chance to truly take a vacation from all of our jobs. You know... the 9 to 5 and being a parent.

While the kids were at home being kids, we were in Florida being kids again.

At first it felt like we forgot something (hint: the kids). But, it was so relaxing to get into Magic Kingdom just the two of us not needing to worry about the kids.

Then we got to the cruise and for the first time ever we didn't really know what to do with ourselves! We were full of giggles and excitement.

The best part of this whole trip was getting to meet new people and make new friends. In fact, we walked away from this trip with two new friends from New York and they're planning to sail again with us in the near future.

Overall, I would recommend parents to take the trip without the kids. It's worth it.

Will you constantly think about your kids? Yes.

Will you constantly say "Oh [child name] would have loved this!"? Yes.

Will you look back and regret having true quality time with your loved one? No.

We might need to make this a regular thing for us... 😉

I'll be posting more on our trip soon!
